The Microsoft CSP Direct agreement has changed

Purchasing with Microsoft directly has changed so reselling through an Indirect CSP Provider like intY will make the transition straightforward. The new Microsoft requirements are significant enough that many current Tier 1 Direct Microsoft partners will no longer qualify or want to remain in the program.

 

Tier 1 Direct CSP’s must now make significant new and ongoing investments in their billing, provisioning, support practices, service offerings, and sales and marketing operations. Microsoft solution providers can completely avoid these requirements by partnering with intY. As an Indirect Provider, we deliver those services on your behalf absolutely free of charge.

As a direct bill Microsoft partner, you own the end-to-end relationship with your customer and with Microsoft. As of August 31, 2018, Microsoft updated its enrollment requirements for direct bill partners. They are:

Purchase a $15K (minimum) annual support policy.
Provide your own provisioning and billing platform.
Deliver at least one managed service, IP service, or customer solution application.
Meet additional performance requirements and thresholds.
