2018: The Year in Review for intY

What a year it’s been for intY, our team have been hard at work on some exciting things over the last 12 months including another successful CloudFest, partnering up with new vendors and of course winning CRN Cloud Distributor of the Year…AGAIN!

intY+ Acronis

We started 2018 with the announcement that intY would be the first UK based distributor to offer the full Data Cloud solution including Disaster Recovery Cloud from Acronis!

This news means our partners have been able to capitalise on access to a completely integrated backup and disaster recovery solution available via our CASCADE portal.

We had this to say about the announcement:

intY CloudFest 2018

As the second half of the year rolled around, our key event in the diary was of course CloudFest and this year’s event was certainly a memorable one…

For the first time ever, we split our popular partner event over two days and enjoyed a host of activities including golf, training and a BBQ .

Day 1 was all about networking on the amazing golf course at Celtic Manor followed by exclusive training sessions on Microsoft Azure, Symantec, Acronis and Comodo.

We got inspired on day 2 with keynote sessions and masterclasses from industry leaders such as Microsoft and Acronis. We also launched new services from Symantec and Comodo as well as our new revolutionary feature, Partner Insights™ (teased exclusively to intY partners).

Partnering with Nulia

In October, intY became the first global distributor to partner with vendor, Nulia.

Nulia brings enablement for businesses undergoing their digital transformation journey. They deliver effective training sessions to business employees using Microsoft Office 365 software such as Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.

This new partnership will help intY partners increase Office 365 workload usage and consumption within their customer base.

Nulia provides extensive assistance to help end users deeply adopt the broad set of functionalities in Office 365, allowing users to get the most out of the software package. Nulia’s digital enablement solutions portfolio combines QuickStart educational sessions and custom-designed solutions to guide users through the adoption of Office 365, from the fundamentals and team collaboration to advanced functions, productive working and employee engagement.

CRN Cloud Distributor of the Year

Winning Cloud Distributor of the Year in 2017 was an amazing triumph for intY, winning the award for the second time in a row in 2018, felt equally astonishing!

We’re immensely proud of the team here at intY for the hard work they’ve put in over the last 12 months, which led us to another win at the 2018 CRN Channel Awards.

Being 2 x winner of Cloud Distributor of the Year really highlights intY’s position in the industry and recognises our strengths as a distributor who values our vendors and partners and delivers a strong set of cloud-only products bundled with amazing support and big personality!

The Future…

Big things are coming in the New Year for intY as we prepare to launch 2019 with a bang!

We teased Partner Insights™ to our vendors and partners at CloudFest earlier in the year and we can’t wait to unveil it to the world in January. We truly think this is revolutionary stuff and one giant leap for the cloud distribution industry, watch this space!
