We went to Microsoft Inspire! Did you?
We went, we saw, we conquered...
We can’t believe Microsoft Inspire has been and gone for another year already! This year, intY exhibited for the first time with Gold Sponsorship and we had a blast! We met so many of our partners and vendors at the show, and for those of you who sadly didn’t make it…here is a rundown from us.
Day 1
On our first full day of Microsoft Inspire, thousands of Microsoft partners and employees filled the T-Mobile Arena to hear senior leaders discuss the ways in which companies around the world are transforming their businesses through the power of partnership and Microsoft technologies. We learned about an increased focus in FY19 on industry-specific solutions, new strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention, and enhanced training and readiness opportunities.
Day 2
After an exhilarating first day at Microsoft Inspire, we reconvened at the T-Mobile Arena for our Day 2 Corenote, featuring Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner. She shared the exciting news that since the launch of One Commercial Partner a year ago, partners have achieved over 5 billion dollars in sales. She announced expanded opportunities for partners to co-sell with Microsoft this year, including creating and managing their own cloud marketplaces within Microsoft AppSource. We heard from Jason Zander, Executive Vice President of the Microsoft Azure Team in the Cloud and AI Group, and Ron Markezich, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft 365, about new initiatives that will help partners achieve digital transformation for their customers. These include the availability of a free version of Microsoft Teams, prebuilt services to help partners leverage AI and IoT in their apps, and investments that will expand Azure’s global network infrastructure.
Day 3
The last day of Microsoft Inspire concluded the Corenote’s from Las Vegas, Nevada. We heard Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella deliver an inspiring message about how we can work together, using the power of the Microsoft Intelligent Cloud and the Microsoft Intelligent Edge, to deliver on our mission of empowering every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. We also heard from Microsoft solution area leaders about new resources and assets that will enable partners to deliver strong Modern Life solutions. Customer stories helped illustrate how Microsoft 365 empowers employees to work more creatively and securely, and how the continued expansion of Azure platform capabilities enables innovation across multiple industries.
It’s safe to say that the main focuses from Microsoft for their next financial year are Azure, Microsoft 365, AI and data. If you want to find out how you can get involved have a chat with your intY Cloud Sales Specialist today!
