The Vendor Business Manager will be given direct supervision from our current Vendor Business Manager and will have no direct reports.
Daily contact with vendor representatives, sales reps, accounting, development team, and ScanSource management.
Drive business to achieve revenue and GP£ goals.
Act as an escalation point for the assigned vendor line(s).
Creation, execution and on-going monitoring of assigned vendor line(s) business plans.
Maintain high profile for assigned vendor line(s) to further productive relationships.
Facilitate and drive alignment of vendor team(s) with appropriate members of the ScanSource business units.
Working with our Marketing Specialists to execute the marketing plan for the vendor(s) to achieve business plan and attract resellers.
Understand the competitive landscape of the Distributor, Software Vendor and Channel Partners.
Serve as problem solver and escalation path for internal sales and Vendor issues.
Maximise profitability for assigned vendor line(s).
Monitor pipeline, recruiting and performance to achieve goals for assigned line(s).
Maintain product knowledge of assigned vendor line(s) and their competitors.
Responsible for quarterly business reviews with the management and vendor partners.
Other duties as assigned.
