The Role

Sales Team Leader is responsible for first-tier problem escalation, process improvements, development of sales team and new hire training. He/she manages a team of Account Managers (Inside Sales), CPEM’s (Cloud Partner Enablement Managers) and PAM’s (Partner Acquisition Managers) selling specialty technology products and solution. It is their responsibility to remain updated on the challenges pertinent to their direct reports and their customers and to coach/develop them to drive sales growth. This is an executional role with opportunity for strategic input. Reporting to the Head of Sales.

Duties include (but not limited to) 

Manage, coach and develop small strategic teams within the sales organisation.
Support sales leadership in identifying opportunities for growth.
Provide accurate sales forecasts.
Assisting in designing and executing strategies to drive growth.
Generate net new sales opportunities for channel partners by way of GTM strategies.
Assisting with goal setting / KPI’s.
Be knowledgeable of all sales tools in order to be able to step in and support your teams.
Carry out the duties of your team members when required, leading by example.
Identify and resolve challenges between sales and other departments.
Coordinate ongoing training / education of sales reps – continuous developments.
Deal with complaints, conflict, internal and external.
Hold regular 1:1’s and Performance Reviews with your teams.
Pro-actively review status of partner accounts, monitoring lost/declining business.
Understand core business growth strategies of partner accounts.
Maintain relationships with executives at the top of strategic/high growth accounts.
Handle special projects as assigned by the Head of Sales.
Work within the five pillars of the sales excellence framework as set out by the HoS.
Achieve company revenue and gross margin targets as set by the business.
Handle HR aspects of sales management – Holidays, disputes, expenses.
Other duties as assigned (including outside of job description, within reason).
Regular attendance is required to be effective in this role.
Leadership positions within the sales team are not strictly limited 9am – 5pm.
