The Role

We are looking for an Inside Channel Account Manager that would be responsible for driving sales growth with both new and existing Sales Partners throughout the UK and EMEA.

Responsibilities include creating a proactive sales process to optimize revenue opportunities and growth from assigned Sales Partners, on-boarding new of Sales Partners, sales of enhanced services, and other opportunities as identified.  You will be responsible and accountable for achieving and surpassing sales targets as set by the business.

Business Development

Build deep and long-lasting relationships with sales partners, and work with them to develop their businesses and help close sales opportunities.
Achieve monthly/annual targets for assigned Sales Partners net billings, gross commissions, and gross profits.
Actively manage and successfully grow assigned Sales Partner’s revenue base.
Work with marketing team to create compelling marketing campaigns to and for sales partners.
Recruit and onboard new high-quality sales partners, with great industry knowledge and contacts.
Drive opportunities through the sales cycle for assigned Sales Partners via phone, video calls, emails, virtual and in-person events.
Actively participate in coordinated sales calls between the Sales Partner and Supplier Partners.
Quickly develop trusting and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Drive attendance to local/virtual events and training. Attend events at the request of management.
Drive new sales revenues from our enhanced services portfolio.
True customer service mentality and orientation to help build mindshare with assigned Sales Partners through empathetic listening, positive attitude and result-oriented approach that helps drive sales growth.
Attend all company and team meetings, as well as supplier trainings and events.
Concisely articulate intY’s value proposition to drive new opportunities and increase market penetration.

Sales Partner Enablement

Work with intY Vendor Business Manager and Marketing to conduct, organize and facilitate sales partner training events, provided by vendor partners.
Communicate quote and order processing with the Sales Operations team in an organized and effective manner.
Coordinate Sales Partner access to Solution Engineers, Sales Operations, Commissions, and other overlay resources as appropriate.
Ability to identify additional intY and supplier solutions that will help Sales Partners capitalize on market opportunities.
Leverage all levels intY Account Management / Vendor Business Managers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
Recognize market and industry trends and the competitive landscape to understand intY and vendor partners strengths in the market.
Develop a strong understanding of the business model of assigned Sales Partners and vendors partners.

Business Acumen

Understand varying business models and how intY and vendor partners solutions enable Sales Partner success.
Utilize problem-solving skills to help assigned Sales Partners resolve issues and escalations.
Ability to leverage consultative sales skills to support and advise Sales Partners.
Proven strong communication, listening, and presentation skills to varying audiences.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Be naturally commercially minded with ability to create coherent quotes, proposals, bids and tenders.

Technical Acumen

Understanding of intY and vendor partner solution set and how those solutions will support and enable the Sales Partner.
Ability to engage with Solution Engineers to sell and assist in closing opportunities.
Manage all Sales Partner activity in the customer relationship management tool.
Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

Reporting Relationships: 

  • Reports to Head of Sales
  • Interfaces with Sales Partners, Vendor partners, and multiple departments within intY
  • Interfaces with Business Leadership as required

Requirements: 

  • Degree (or equivalent experience), in a business-related subject.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a sales or account management role in telecoms, UCaaS/CCaas
  • Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple deadlines.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced culture of accountability, commitment, and efficiency.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic team environment as well as perform assignments autonomously. Owner mentality
  • Excellent communication, presentation, writing and editorial abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with indirect channel sales organizations preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, internet and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Meticulously organised with record keeping and CRM

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
  • Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds.
