The Role

We’re recruiting a Commercial Manager who will be responsible for the Commercial & Vendor Services department. This team owns the relationships with our vendors and the onboarding and lifecycle of the growing suite of Cloud products available through our own platform CASCADE.

You will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality as you’ll spend time both with vendors and partners to understand the pain points and find innovative solutions for the market. Alongside external partners, you will work closely with our internal teams including both Sales and Marketing to execute the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits and target market. You will work closely with our Support and Development teams to ensure that the partnership with the vendors is as effective as possible. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for CASCADE and the full product suite.



Understand the needs of our partners in order to identify, investigate and build relationships with potential new vendors
Manage the introduction of new vendors of Cloud products
Line management of the Commercial & Vendor Services team
Responsible for the performance and quality of services and deliverables from the Commercial & Vendor Services team
Managing the lifecycle of Cloud products
Proactively maintain knowledge of vendor product roadmap
Responsible for setting pricing and managing margin analysis
Conduct market research and maintain knowledge of trends and market requirements for current and future services
Become the expert go-to person for vendor, product and competitor information
Specify requirements for CASCADE to successfully manage products
Using your commercial knowledge, contribute to the growth strategy of our product and services portfolio and the continual improvement of how we do things as a department and as a wider business
Tracking and reporting on the performance of individual product initiatives
Researching and preparing business cases for the onboarding of new vendors and products
Developing and building relationships with vendors and partners

Experience required


4+ years Commercial and/or product management experience


3+ years of strong demonstrable line management experience

Team player

Experience of taking a strong vision to tactical delivery whilst maintaining a highly motivated team

Product discovery

Experience in product discovery, conducting market research and competitor analysis demonstrating your well thought-out, data-driven, decision making mindset
